 I agree with the torso bit, I always get stuff around that bit, especially with her puffy shorts the original shape is kinda lost Thank you so much for the great critique :> lots of good points there ^^  Better than my hands.. they come out like claws and a slightly smaller claw on a stick. ;-; haha.
i usually just look at my own hands to help me (mum says I have pretty hands derp)
if I can't get the right angle then i just google images of hands, or for this picture I took pictures of my hands at the angel i wanted with my ipad helps to ref, I eventually got something half decent C: |

I love how innocent the face looks and the posing. The way you've positioned the hands and the bag to sit is really good I think.
Now for the negative:
The belly area is too long and the hips aren't really defined, the shape just sort of keeps going. Although I do think you have a very unique and quarky colouring style and I'd stick to it.
Maybe you should look up a little bit more about the torso/belly/hip area and look at a few tutorials to see how the areas really fit together.
Overall though, I like this piece and you've clearly worked very hard on it.
